This blog is about my life as a Christian, a Christian who very much believes that I live my life as a Christian Naturist. God created us in his own image and I see nothing evil, sinful or sexual in a man or woman who lives naked as God created us. I have been a nudist most of my life, but once I was saved by Jesus Christ, suddenly my naturist lifestyle took on a whole new perspective. I suddenly felt wholesome and clean and unashamed. But above everything in my life, first and foremost I am a Christian and it is only fitting that my first entry in my blog is "My Profession of Faith". Below is the text taken from my website, http://www.witness4jesus.com/. Jesus is with me every minute and every second of every day and night.
I believe that the Holy Bible is the infallible and inerrant words of God and that God has preserved His words for us today (Psalm 12:6-7 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. & Psalm 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever). It is the absolute final authority for all matters of life (2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: ).
I believe that God exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God (1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.).
I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.), His virgin birth (Matthew 1:21-23 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.), His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.), His miracles (John 2:23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.), His death for all the sins of the world (John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.), His bodily resurrection (John 20: 1-14 1The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. 2Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the LORD out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. 3Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. 4So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. 5And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. 6Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, 7And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. 8Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. 9For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. 10Then the disciples went away again unto their own home. 11But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, 12And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not where they have laid him. 14And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. ), His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Acts 1:9, Romans 8:34), and His return which is yet to come. (John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also).
I believe that a person is saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God).
I believe that works and good deeds, either before or after a person is saved, has no bearing on that persons salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.).
Once a person is saved he or she cannot lose his or her salvation (Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.).
I believe that good works should follow after a person is saved (Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God., Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.).
I believe that every saved person has the Holy Spirit living in him, who seals that person from losing their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? & Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.)
I believe that the local church should be independent (Acts 13:1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.; 14:23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.; 15:4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.; 18:22 And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch., Romans 16:1, I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea. 1 Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:; 4:17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.; 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house., READ: Revelation 2:1 , 8, 12, 18, 3:1, 7, and 14). And the Head of all local independent churches is Jesus Christ (Matthew 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican., Acts 4:9-11 9If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; 10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.).
I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture, or catching away, of all saved people(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.). I believe that Jesus will take His own out of this world and then the seven year tribulation period will begin. After the seven year tribulation, Jesus will return to set up His Millennial Kingdom (Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him, READ Revelation 4:1 - 22:21).
I believe that God's Bible is preserved in the English language via the Authorized Version, or King James Version, Bible. I believe that all Modern Bible Versions, including, but not limited to, the NKJV, NIV, ASV, NASB, NLT, TLB, and TNIV, are corrupted by men and contain false teaching. These modern versions weaken and deny fundamental doctrines of the Bible.I believe that the King James Bible and the doctrines contained within should be held up and defended in love and patience (2 Timothy 3:10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,; 2 Peter 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;) that we may convince and win those who may oppose us. (Titus 1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.).
